START WITH THE APPLICATION

Start with the material.
Define the outcome.

Oil or fat source, feedstock analysis, water content, alcohol, intended reaction route, temperature and target scale.

01 / OILS & FATS

Start with the oil.

Review the feedstock composition and proposed conversion route before selecting a lipase trial.

Oil quality · water · free fatty acids

Discuss this application →
02 / SOAPSTOCK

Characterise the complexity.

Discuss a representative soapstock sample and its pretreatment history. Separate feedstock preparation from the catalytic comparison.

Composition · phase behaviour · pretreatment

Discuss this application →
03 / PROCESS DEVELOPMENT

Follow the conversion.

Build a laboratory comparison around reaction conditions and an appropriate analytical method.

Conversion · catalyst reuse · separation

Discuss this application →

A PRACTICAL ROUTE FORWARD

Choose the activity.
Build the trial.

Review these development routes with our technical team. The selected product, grade, activity, quantity and any formulation work are specified in your quotation.

Lipase ingredients

Review soluble lipase options and product-specific activity information for a controlled laboratory trial.

Discuss this option →

Process-specific blends

Discuss the established Biodiesel Max Yield Pro range and whether its current specification fits your feedstock.

Discuss this option →

Catalyst format

Compare soluble and immobilised catalyst routes where suitable, including recovery, reuse and operational requirements.

Discuss this option →
Tailored selection. Clear specifications.

Tell us the application, required quantity and destination. Product availability, activity, grade, documentation and pricing are agreed in your quote.

A USEFUL FIRST STEP

Start with a brief.
Build the evidence.

Free samples are available for qualified commercial trials after an application review. Sample selection, quantity, delivery and the trial method are agreed before dispatch.

Plan the next step ↗
  1. Describe your application.

Oil or fat source, feedstock analysis, water content, alcohol, intended reaction route, temperature and target scale.

  2. Agree the trial conditions.

Include the material, scale, pH, temperature, contact time and any existing process chemicals.

  3. Define a useful result.

Choose the comparison, controls and measurements that will guide your next decision.

BEFORE YOU START

The details
that matter.

Can one enzyme treat every oil and fat?

Feedstock composition and process conditions vary. Use a representative sample and a product-specific trial before selecting a supply route.

Do you guarantee fuel-standard compliance?

No. Enzyme conversion data alone does not establish finished-fuel compliance. Product quality and the required fuel specification must be assessed separately.

Can you help with enzyme reuse?

Include catalyst recovery and reuse in the brief. The selected format, support and process conditions determine how reuse should be evaluated.

Is lipase available in small packs?

Current lipase pack options and pricing are available through the S&T store. Review the specification and suitability before ordering.

Do you offer bulk supply and tailored blends?

Send your application, required quantity, specifications and delivery destination. We will review a suitable supply or development route and provide a quotation.
